Case-22664
Dr. Kilgo
The patient is an otherwise healthy woman with LCIS of the left breast who opted for bilateral mastectomy. Because of her breast size and nipple position, she underwent bilateral breast reduction prior to bilateral nipple sparing mastectomy, which was performed 8 months after her breast reduction. She was reconstructed in stages with immediate pre pectoral tissue expander placement followed by implant exchange and fat grafting (to view these images, please see patient 19 in the Breast Reconstruction section of the gallery).
